The Healer On a trip back from Scotland, the ship that carries Lady Autumn is caught in a storm and is forced to dock. The dark and dreary Ravenscar Castle sits high atop the cliffs, ruled by a mighty and frightening warlord. The Lord of Ravenscar is said to be horrible, keeping children of war as servants, and kidnapping women to be his lovers. She wants to stay far away, but is captured and brought to the castle to heal the beast of a man.
The Beast When his liege lord falls ill and dies, Sir Benedict Grenfell assumes the identity of Ravenscar, keeping the legend of the infamous man alive. But when he falls ill, he needs to find a healer quickly who is willing to step foot inside his castle to help him. He hears of a lady with a miraculous healing touch whose ship has docked on his shores. He kidnaps her, bringing her to his castle, insisting she cures him. Lady Autumn’s touch is much more than just medicine for his physical ailment. Her presence in his life awakens and stirs his soul as well.
A dark lord and a lady of light are brought together by force, but will they stay together by choice?
