Editors must have experience, or a combination of experience, in the following:

• A degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Creative Writing, or equivalent degree. If no degree, a minimum of 10 years experience in the editorial/copywriting/academia editing/publishing field.
• Experience editing novels and working with writers.
• Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and an understanding of story construction
• A get-it-done attitude and a flexible work style
• Strong organizational and time management skills
